Hi all,

Since my landscape photography has come to a standstill, I've been keeping up online here and there (when I'm not too sleepy) and I came across these two interesting threads the other day. Mark Metternich on another channel has posted some interesting information. http://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/525521 & http://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/527410.

The marketing part is interesting enough and makes good sense, at least in the future for me. I was wondering if anyone knows about the printing firm mentioned, PhotoCraft in PDX , more specifically the Lambda printer and the Flex Fuji Crystal Archive paper? Has anyone done any prints like this?

I'm just curious how they compare to Epson prints. I do know it's more expensive to print with this printer than, say, Mark Hudon's Epson 10,000 MKIII (I forget which printer you have Mark;)

Thanks,

Kevin

wow....I just read that whole thing.....interesting and he makes some great points...I think there are many different ways to get around spending the 1000 for prints for a portfolio and having them mounted....

Great info and thanks for sharing...

Oh, Kevin..maybe your wife should meet my wife and the kids and wives could play while we go shooting.....

Just make a great portfolio and get out there and show your work! Pretty fundamental, yet few seem to do it.
