Cheyenne Canyon Part III
Well after a good nights sleep and a second look Saturday's shoot was better than I originally thought.

C&c welcome and appreciated.

Here is a B&W conversion.

John,

I was hoping you were going to post something. I like the first one. The second one looks interesting, but I guess I would like to see a little larger image to see a bit more detail. Are these crops or did you zoom in this much? Just curious.

Awesome John Welcome back from the fringe! My queries are the same as Derek's about the compositions. I tend to lean more towards the second too and like Derek I would like to see one at 700 pixels too! :toast:

Thanks Dan! Derek, yes the B&W is a crop from another shot. I was experimenting with a B&W conversion process found in Scott Kelby's book "Photshop Elements 5 for Digital Photographers", (Can I mention that here?) I will convert the whole image and and put it on Smugmug so you can see it all proper like. I did get some nice shots Saturday.

I like the composition on the second one with it's wider view; the first feels very tight to me with not quite enough there to pull me in. I agree with Derek that posting the second one larger would help immensely. You can go up to 720px on the long side.
