Having just arrived back at our place in Kansas after four months away six white tailed hinds arrived to greet us. This effort was taken through the lounge window which had six months dust on it.
Taken at sun down just a quick chance.

I really like this. The six months of dust seems to have added a certain 'je ne sait quoi' to the image IMHO. Very atmospheric.
It was a great welcome home. Thanks for posting.

Barry - great low-key photo, but what is going on at the top of the deers front leg and down the left edge of the frame?
Some USM and all else black - shot will be a stunner

Andy

Thanks David and Andy the bottom left is the end of a railroad tie (sleeper) we use to fence the paddocks. My expertise at tweaking is still lacking.
