The Shining
This is an "As is" scene.

No color correction or adjustments. I was amamzed at the clouds and the color of the early morning light...

Taken up at Cape Horn Sunday morning...

C and C welcomed and encouraged.

Thanks
Darren

Darren,

I like the color and lighting. I'd be tempted to touch up the lights on the right bank - they distracted me a bit from the overall scene. The overall feel is nice.

I like the soothing blue tones to the image. This scene brings back many memories of my youth. I grew up about 10 miles up the Washougal river road, not far from Cape Horn. Many Sunday mornings were spent driving up the gorge with my father's enjoyment of family drives. Very cool - Thanks for the memory!

I love this shot Darren. Very moody and different from what you normally see. Even though this is out of the camera, I get much more than a "snapshot" vibe from it. My only thing is that it feels like the river is tipping to the right. Perhaps a one degree CCW rotation would help?

Works for me, Darren. Very strong, moody image.
