A Stand of Trees
Just for fun, this shot was taken near Montesano through a car's window. We were going about 60 mph at the time. Not many of my attempts turned out, but the few that did revealed wonderful surprises.

D200, 24-120 VR @ 95mm. ISO 400, f5.6, ss not recorded.

What do you think? Thanks for looking.

Very cool abstract! I really like this. It would be a fun one to experiment with canvas or fine art papers. Quite relaxing and soothing feeling to it. Well done

Wow, that is pretty cool; the top almost looks like some close up of cloth on some OOF ebay clothing shot! Very mystical, next time you should wave the camera up and down too

Catherine,
This is a pretty cool abstract, but for me its a bit too non photo-ish if ya know what I mean.

Interesting effect - perhaps to abstract to begin to guess what it might be.... but not really a bad thing at all...

Very nice abstract. I certainly like it.

I love this! I enjoy impressionistic visions of the world as much, if not more, than realism. This one really speaks to me. Thanks for sharing.

Dewitt Jones recently wrote a good article in OP on this same technique. Amazing what you can find sometimes. I like this quite a bit. Really nice to be shooting digital when you're trying stuff like this!
