Resting Clouds

Well actually it is called Clouds Rest where the clouds and sitting on the peak behind Halfdome.

A 4 image stitch from October 2006 when the fall color did not pan out all that much.
Late afternoon shot...Unfortunatey, the clouds did not turn colors at sunset...

Interesting perspective on Half Dome here, Eric. A good looking cloud cover too. :smile:

Nice, I like the way you composed the pano shot with the glacier bolder in the left foreground and half dome in the right background.
Did you shoot this from the Olmsted Point area?

Lovely image, Eric. I specially love the light and the drama created by the clouds.
