To all the talented artists on NPF. Does anyone live the in the Louiseville KY. area. I received this request from a friend on another site asking for a photographer willing to donate some time to help out a worthy cause.
http://www.soulumination.org/home.html, a service run by Lynette Johnson, celebrates the lives of children facing life threatening illnesses by providing professional photographs—free of charge—of these children and their families. The life-affirming photographs of Soulumination are an enduring, positive record of the child’s brief life.
I volunteered my services with them last year and, while I haven't been called upon to help out yet, Lynette e-mailed me tonight looking for a photographer in the Louisville, KY area. I can't imagine a more satisfying way to donate photographer services than something like this.
Is there anyone here on NPF that could help out with something like this? You email me or go directly to Kippy who has helped this group before at Kippy@GeminaiGraphics.com.
I am not sure if this appropriate for here so let me know if this is not the right place to post this please let me know.
You might also try posting this thread on www.sportsshooter.com as I know there are a good number of photographers out that way. Looks like a great cause, hopefully those in that area will offer up their services.

Thanks for responding. I have this posted on a couple of oehter sites where people know me so I will see what develops there before venturing over to Sportsshooter. Thanks for responding and thanks to all who have taken a peek at this thread. The class of this group here far outstrips any other site I belong too.
Mike, I'd be glad to do a similar thing in the area where I live here in North Carolina. It sounds like a wonderful cause and I'd be happy to donate time to do it. If your friend knows of a contact in this area feel free to send them to me. Thanks for presenting such a worthy cause.
