Taken last weekend after all the mad birders had gone home for tea.
Waited & waited. Three birds present when I arrived but very quickly disappeared. Just too much traffic in the way of people.
When all had gone laid on the ground and waited.
Two birds reappeared and began to feed. What is normally an extremely skittish bird, these two were not bothered by my prescence.
D2xs 600mm AFS II + 1.4 conv.

This is a cracker,great detail in the feathers and a clean background,we have a lot here at the mo in the jura mountains but i havent managed to get near enough for a shot :toast:

Beautiful light and a great alert pose. I would be happy for a blackbird shot this good, never mind a Ring Ouzel. Excellent!
