Folks, This book is worth it's weight in gold. It's 536 pages crammed full of ideas and it is includes a CD to accompany tutorials in the book.
First, thanks to Guy Tal for his recommendation.
Second: IMHO, to anyone who really wants to improve his or her post-production skills in PS CS2 or 2, this is a MUST. (This comment comes from a person who has worked in the computer industry for a long time. Most of us in the field, do first, and read second ;^) And sometimes that reading pays off.)
I hope you find it as worthwhile as I think it is.
I agree that this is an excellent book. When I first bought Photoshop, I purchased several books to help me learn. None of them gave me a good overview of the process. Then I bought Photoshop Artistry. It is the book I used to learn Photoshop--it is geared specifically for photographers.

Agreed Carol - it's an excellent book, especially the sections on color management. Another book that's possibly a little easier to read is Tim Grey's Photoshop CS2 Digital Workflow. I believe the CS3 version is due out in May. Both are superb books.
