Had the day off yesterday so I drove out to Greys Harbor in hopes of catching some of the shore bird migration. Things weren't looking all that great at bottle beach for migrators yet. So I drove down to Tokeland and found a pretty big flock of Marbled Godwit there. I liked this one simply because the bird looked so peaceful sleeping there. It opened it's eyes and looked at me then went back to sleeping, must have been pooped.

75 views and no reply??? Wonderful sharpness, excellent expressiveness, before I read your caption I thought this was a graphic illustration of peacefulness. I'd frame this and post it where peacefulness is of the essence, maybe a child's napping place.
Yea, Sometimes it's hard to get alot of responses with bird shots on this forum. Maybe post it over on the npn forum.

Thanks Dan,
I shot almost 2 gig that day, the eyes are open in a few of them No reason to apologize for the comments. Mostly landscape shooters here, nothing wrong with that
