Luna Moth - Environmental
I went out to Seven Hollows Trail with a fellow shooter today and we ran across this Luna Moth. After shooting it up close for a while, I decided to move back for a different perspective. It's a little different from the norm, but that's what I like about it. Tell me what you think. Thanks for looking.

Dominic, I think you've captured a very nice environmental shot here. I've never seen one in person so this would give me a good idea of it's prefered habitat. Well done!

Dominic:

I had no idea that lens would focus that far away! This is one of the very best lenses ever produced for 35mm cameras, and I'm sure you will make great use of it...

I love luna moths! I think I'd have preferred the closer perspective, though. Thanks for sharing!

I like your idea Dominic, sometimes it helps to take a fresh look at things. I think it makes a great enviro shot. I might also try cropping to a vertical, w/o the green foliage.
