Pillsbury Crossing is a few miles south of Manhattan, KS. It is a natural fording spot with a stone river bottom. I took this pic more for fun then anything, since I had a 70-300mm IS and 1.4x tcon on. The time was early afternoon in bright sun. Exposure was f/25, ISO 100, 1/25 sec, 150 mm, handheld. I was trying to see if I could get the smooth water in bright sun. Does it work? Does the smooth water in bright sun seem unnatural? I have a few shots where it is even smoother. Comments/critiques welcome. Thanks, Rob.

Rob, I like this composition. I have tried before to find something that appealed to me and never landed on a satisfying comp. For bright afternoon light I think you've controlled the whites well and given the falling water a pleasing flow. It's just a tough place to get a really good image, but I think you did really well considering the challenges!
