Hi,

Sometimes it all comes together in the most unlikely places, although a common bird, this was taken at a small fishing lake in a council countrypark less than 5mins drive from my house... although there are only common species present the low viewpoint possible is well worth the strange looks from all the families taking walks round the park.

All the best

Phil

Nice shot Phil, its always nice to see a good photo of even the most common animal.

I've got a number of council country parks near me, and have taken some shots, but i worry about being a "target" with £2000 odd of camera gear on me. Luckily i'm now a Warden but that wouldnt top them...

I really like this photo. It's easy to forget that the common species are sometimes the best looking.
