I'm sure it's the same with each of the forums but Mondays are always so much fun over at ES&S. I stopped by today and had a number of great images to enjoy. Some posters are excited to share what they captured over the weekend and others finally got the time to work on an image taken some time ago. The song may say "...I don't like Mondays" but let me tell you that here at NPN I love 'em.
Keep up the great photography everyone and I'm guessing either next Monday or the one after we'll have a rush on wildflower pics I'm looking forward to it.

I agree Peter. Mondays always seem to be bustling with activity at NPN!
I wish! I'm always so worn out from the weekend that I don't get around to editing anything until Wednesday and then the light gets good in the afternoons and I don't even go home for supper ... I head to my favorite local haunts and then I've got even more editing to catch up on. Some fine day I'll be done with this day job on a big, ugly 5 color Heidelberg and then I'll become a "real" photographer
Seriously though, you are right and I'll have some of my own to share soon. At 60 years of age I'm planning my annual canoe vacation and this year I'm spending 7 days in Frontenac Provincial park. Very rugged and beautiful back country canoe and portage trip. All I can hope for is great light but I'll take what I get and do my best with it.

Robert - Have a great time in Frontenac Provincial! Double check the waterproof seals on the bag with the camera in it before pushing off in the canoe Good attitude about the light. There are great photos to be taken in all places at all times...some are just easier than others.

Peter, the camera and all my lenses except a Sigma 55-200 are weather sealed. In all my years of exploring Algonquin and the Mississippi (Canadian) and Northern Ontario I've never dowsed a camera. Frontenac will be a new experience for me and because I'm going primarily as a photographic trek I'll be going alone because nobody has the patience to put up with me when I'm waiting for the light

Good to hear from a fellow Canadian.
