I just thought I'd let you all know that I have returned to lurker status since time is limited with our newest little one. Her heart has suddenly shown signs of weakening so she is going in for open-heart surgery tomorrow to fix the problem (it'll be mostly fixed, she will need another operation once she's a teen).
So I do feel like you all are an extended part of the family and I want you to know I'll be stepping away for a little bit but will chime in from time to time to try to reconnect; hopefully, I'll be able to get out there in the summer (it's killing me to see those great waterfall shots...please post more :P).
Thanks for listening and god bless. If you'd be willing, take a moment and wish our little Netta good luck.
Kevin
Here's a pic that we're going to have on the wall soon.
HI Kevin, know that our thoughts & prayers are with you and your family in this time of trepidation. Times like this are the real trial of parenthood. And that's a wonderful portrait!!! Poke yer head in here every once in awhile and keep us all up to date.

Wow, I truly wish you and family all the best, Kevin. I can only imagine how difficult a situation this must be as a parent. Hopefully the operation goes just as smoothly as possible and she has this beautiful smile on her face again soon. Good news that the docs caught this problem when they did.

Kevin,
I'm sure she will be just fine. As I'm sure you know, medical technology these days is amazing. Good luck and keep us updated.
Wishing you and your family the best. I know a bit were you're at, by son had open heart surgery two years ago (when he was 16); must be even harder with a young one. We'll keep Netta in our prayers.
