Along Oneonta Creek this last weekend.. converted to black and white seemed a better choice than the neon spring green of the small plants lining the trail...

Makes me want to get out and do some gorge hiking. I like the B&W conversion. Maybe slightly over sharpened?
It shimmers, like an etching. In color the cyans would just about overwhelm everything else, wouldn't they? This is really good.

Nicely done. A good reminder that I need to shoot more of this stuff. Look forward to seeing the color version although the more I see B&W the more I like it.

Even a desaturated color might work - it is just a little too cold in start B&W for me. Love these trails.....

I would like to see color as well. B&W of foilage in the gorge always seems flat to me. I really dilike how the colors of nature all muddle together in B&W, despite how hard one may work with the channel mixer!
