Water Vole
After a number of lean years my local Water Vole population has suddenly exploded and currently giving me many hours of pleasure.

Just stunning - made me laugh out loud - uncanny resemblance to Ken Dodd!

Great shot! Don't often see 'in your face' water vole pics. You did well to get so close, so low down without the vegetation obscuring. Very well done indeed! :toast: Wish my water vole population was exploding... seems to be imploding. :frown:

Now we know where the yellow went!! It certainly does look like a mini-beaver. Superb portrait. I wish they were in the brook at the bottom of our Close. Great to read that they are doing well somewhere, What's the secret?

Fantastic viewpoint, and good 'natural framing'. But the fact that the eyes are OOF lets it down for me. Sorry!
