Birch Bark Cherry detail
My grand landscape stock sales have been slowly declining over the past few years (which may say something about my photographic ability :frown: ) so I'm trying to concentrate more on patterns and the small details. Tree bark makes for an interesting subject although it remains to be seen if there's much of a market for this stuff.

Makes me want to get crazy with saturation and/or ???. Neat pattern work, maybe images like this will work in little sets of 3 or 4 small exposures.....

No, it says something about the stock industry these days though! This is a really strange image. I like it more the longer I look. I also like it with the top 1/4 cropped off.

I agree with Marc, it's not your ability, but the stock industry. I love birch bark cherry, and this is a wonderful detail.
