Has anyone ever heard of a vacation exchange site for photographers?
I would like to travel more to photograph our beautiful planet but my budget keeps me close to home. I was hoping that there would some kind of exchange out there that would help me find another photog in a location I want to go to and the agreement would be that they would put me up and I would return the favor if they would like to come here and visit my part of the world.
Any ideas?

Haven't heard of anything like that, but it sounds like a great idea!
Diane, try couchsurfing.com I am a member but although I haven't personally tried it, a few friends of mine have done it, and have done almost 1 year stints through this network.

I think this sounds like an awesome idea, and I would be willing to participate in such an exchange.
Hi Diane,
Some friends of mine have used this website for years http://www.homeexchange.com/. They've had great success. It is an actual home exchange, where you swap home, car, etc with another person.
One thing though, you may have some trouble exchanging a condo in downtown Detroit for a ranch on the big island of Hawaii
