The original frame was very centered and I recall not processing this because of that. Tonight I decided to see what it would look like as a pano. This was taken of White Horse Falls on one of the tributaries of the Umpqua River back in 2004.

This definitely works, but ideally, I'd prefer to see a more elongated composition. More of the trees on top, a little more zoomed out from the falls, maybe some of those ubiquitous mossy rocks in the foreground...mmm, yeah, now I want me some Whitehorse.

Ned, after seeing other shots of these falls, I'm convinced the vertical pano perspective is very effective, and might even be the most effective take I've seen on these falls, which seem to have some pretty busy surroundings, and are isolated in the stream. The vertical lines of the background trunks really make it for me, though I'd be tempted to crop a little from the top.

I like the vertical lines (falls and BG trees) contrasting with the horizontal lines (trees across the stream). Nice stuff.

Beautiful with great waterflow... I'd also crop a decent bit off the top... just a portion of the trees since they don't pay off with you seeing their tops.
