Female Wheatear
Taken today. I got quite a few shots with her in the classic upright pose but I quite like this one.

Techs:

E-500, 300/f2.8 + 1.4TC, ISO 125, 1/500 @ f5.6. Cropped about 10%, levels, curves, USM

C & C welcome

Hi Paul,

I like this shot. nice composition and colours, nice to see a different type of Wheatear shot.

Being ultra critical shame she was'nt a few inches to the right just to take her tail into the nice OOF BG.

Regards

Rob

Hi Paul

Very very nice, not often you catch the female calling and a great BG!

Thanks for the feedback everyone. David, she was having a bit of a ding-dong with another female Wheatear which was trying to muscle in on her patch so that's not a love song she's singing

Very attractive shot taken from low viewpoint. I like the bird's pose and that she is singing 'makes' the image.
