Bad 'hair' day
Ever thought you were having a bad hair day? Then take pity on this harassed Robin - chick 'pester power' is taking it's toll...

Not the greatest flight shot but a bit of fun nonetheless!

D200 200-400VR +1.4xTC 1/640th sec f6.3 ISO 400 Tripod. Natural light.

Hi Clive,

Very good effort, lovely BG and a good composition. the poor thing does look a bit tatty. Could the head/eye take a bit more sharpning?? Better than any flight shots I have!!

Just to let you know on birdline today (28.4.07) 5 miles east of Watton at Scoulton an adult Egyptian Vulture was seen in a field   so keep your eye's peeled if your out and about!!

Regards

Rob

Unusual shot with all the ruffled feathers. Might it not be possible to selectively 'sharpen' the bird a little more?

If only it was a bit sharper! I also agree that the shot is unsual and that makes it a bit specisl!
