Old Shed
This was tonight just as the sun was setting up on Dalles Mtn Rd.

I really liked the warm light on this scene and how you can see all the hills in the background...

I am interested in your opinion on the trees in the forground and the hills in the back....

thanks

Darren

The hills in the back need some contrast, and as for the trees....they are nice, but I almost prefer a crop just above the trunks.

Nice light. I think cropping out the trunks would make it too tight. I'd go for more all around.

Here's my version.

Man, what a view. I agree with a bump in contrast for the BG and would be inclined to crop that tower on the left. Is it possible to shoot the barn, or whatever it is, from the other side of the trees or is this private land, no trespassing, etc.?

Mark, nice shot....

I personally like the soft colors of the hills in the background as it really looked like that with the setting sun.....

lots of areas to explore..not enough time to get to them all!!!!
