Hi,
Had my annual pop in at Bempton cliffs, I hate the place as I'm terrified of heights even when I process the images my stomach turns. Anyway here's a Gannet, I found the new 300mm 2.8 to be an excellent flight lens, made it all very easy.
Cheers now

Hi Tim,
Now thats a Gannet shot !!! , everything about this is spot on , the comp , the exposure , the sharpness , as I said everything , stunning image Tim , well done.
I'll be going to Bempton on Tuesday and if I come away with anything half as good as this I'll be well happy.
Kind regards
Andy...

Nice job on the whites Tim. Nice flight shot.
Is 300mm really enough? I find I can't get a full frame shot with a 500mm and generally have to crop with flight shots.
Do you dress as a bird? Other than at nights obviously

Hi Graeme,
This is 90% of the original frame, so only a small amount cropped off. They fly pretty close to the cliff top edge so ample opportunity for full frame shots, of course this may differ from day to day.
Congrat's on your Red Kite by the way.
