FYI:
Anyone thinking of going over Lolo Pass Rd. (like I was) for pictures, hiking or whatever, be advised; the road is washed out approx. 1 mile SW of where the road changes from paved asphalt to gravel. This is approx. 8.5 miles from the Lost Lake / Lolo Pass Rd junction. No signs warn of the washout either. I didn't do much in the way of processing, just wanted to post this pic as an FYI.
There is a lot of running water so all is not lost. Good waterfall pics up until the washout. Saw a black bear crossing the road on the way back down the road too, but the camera was already packed away.
