So I thought I had a good one when I posted my wildflowers pic in ESS - anyways it's a washout :).
About this one - I have a question though - the tree in the far end seems out of focus. In order to deal with the wind I had to keep the exposure at f11. How do you guys deal with this usually ? Wait for a non windy moment and shoot at f16 + ? Just wondering. Let me know please.
Exif Canon Rebel XT 20-35 at 20 mm f11 1/100 ISO 200.

There is usually no way to deal with the wind except waiting (which could be weeks in the case of Dalles Mountain). There are some time consuming tricks you can use in PS, that involve blending multiple exposures at different apertures, but I've rarely tried it myself. You could have also increased ISO to 400 to shoot at F16, but at the sacrifice of a little image quality.

I like your clouds, and comp, Pradeep... that wind can sure be a killer though!
IN this case, Pradeep, you could have focused on the tree and then focused on the foreground and shot at a faster speed.
The one tough thing about shooting scenes like this, aside from wind, it to find a comp with no "holes" in the flower groupings. When you're driving by, it all looks great. When you get out of the car the holes appear. You have to be artful where you put the holes, as in the case of Marc's shot from the DMR.
