This is one from last summer, taken from a canoe on Upper Klamath Lake, southern OR. Shooting from a canoe ain't easy! I'm always obsessed w/ sharp detail in my avian subjects, but zoomed in at 100%, it just isn't there. I'm not sure how much detail is possible w/ something this small in the frame. I like posting in this forum, because I like getting perspectives from non avian photographers.
Anyways, I'm planning another canoe trip here soon, so it made me think about this. That's Mt. McLouoghlin in the backround.

A particularly unique Eagle shot. I wouldn't envy shooting with long lenses from a canoe.

All in all it's a cool shot. The bird is a a bit small so I might go for a horizontal crop from the middle including the top of the mountain but not it's reflection. It might make a nice landscape/avain/graphic shot.
