Does anyone know of a place where I can have a few (5) 8x10's printed without having to drop them off and pick them up. I need these done ASAP (as in this morning/afternoon at the latest). I usually go to the SlidePrinter, but they have a queue...and I don't have a good printer at my house. The pics are for a contest submission.

Costco prints on Fuji Crystal Chrome Archive Paper. Cheap too. Plus you can upload and they will be ready in about 2 hours.

How is the color accuracy at Costco? Any specific Costco better than the others? Do all of the Costco's have printing centers.

You can dowload the color profiles for any Costco in the country at drycreekphoto.com. Color accuracy is dead-on if you use a calibrated monitor.

Here are the detailed instructions for printing on their machines. Unless they've changed machines in the last 6 months, you'll want 320 dpi and jpg.

I usually send 100% quality JPEG. See Dry Creek's "Using ICC Profiles with Digital Printers" page for details on how to prepare your work. There are some tricks to it - Fuji and Noritsu printers aren't very tolerant of incorrectly formatted image.
