The Toad
on the stool...just another grab shot. Cool little area. These places are sure fun to explore. Anyway, I dont know if this one has a name...but here's my take on it with evening light.

I like the transition of color in this image; however, the bush in the LRC slightly throws off the otherwise smooth transition of rock tones. I would also like to see an image with a larger focal length. The highest point is rather unique and pleasing to the eyes. I never tire of this type of imagery.

Looks like the toad could topple at any moment. Great color and very interesting rock formation....sky ain't bad either. I'm undecided about the bush; could take it or leave it....a crop just above it works, too.

This turned out pretty nice, Rick. It ain't a stunner but it ain't half bad either.

I really like this.... better than any time I've tried to shoot this subject! The different levels of the rock color is very interesting. I like the clouds too. Very nice.

That is a fun area to explore. I really like the color and detail the angle of light brought out of the red rock. You've inspired me to go back and take another look at what I have from the toadstools. Did you go in to the Coyote Buttes too?

Thanks for the comments ya'll. Sean, we showed up for the lottery 4 days in a row and never made it in there. Next time for sure!
