I've had a problem with a few images showing patches of orange and green as in the exdample here. The same image is fine when viewed in RSE so i know its a problem with lightroom not the camera. has anyone else here seen this?
to be honest, I've not really played much with Lightroom, so the only thing I can suggest is that you try and reset any adjustments you've made to the image, and then gradually apply your changes again until you see a problem...
Having said that...is the problem visible in lightroom, or only after you've 'developed' the shots?
The problem is visible in lightroom as soon as i import the raw file - before i change any settings and is still there when i export as a tiff or jpg. Changing exposure settings doesn't seem to help although i will try playing around with that some more.
I seem to remember that there was an issue like this posted on one of the forums a while ago, it was something to do with the type of Processor in your computer (ie non Apple G series). It would be worth having a look on the Lightroom Forum to see when the next update for Lightroom is expected as this might include a fix for the problem.
As Geoff said the problem seems to be a processor one. you need a processor that uses the SSE2 instruction set which means either Intel P4 or Athlon 64. Unfortunately as far as i know no 64 bit processors fit in the socket A so upgrading would mean a new motherboard too It might then end up just as cheap to get a new unit but that seems a lot of money just to be able to use lightroom. I might just stick with RSE for those few photos that have bright yellow in them...
