Black-tailed Godwit
Taken this evening. I've spent the last 3 days after work down at my local reserve in the bird hide trying to get a shot of this visitor to our shores. After little success I decided to come out of the hide and plonk myself down in some nearby reeds and wait till the Godwit hopefully came into view. Which it did, eventually

Anyway I'm pretty pleased with this shot. I know the whites are a little blown but I can live with that. Taken with 500f/4 and 2x on tripod, iso 200, 1/400, f/11, -1/3EC

Thanks.

Beautiful bird, must be very pleased with this.
The whites don't worry me, but if they do you its easy to clone from a none blown area and adjust.
Nice one
