Can anyone ID this duck? It was with 3 Blue Wing Teals, 2 drakes and a hen, in the Bismarck, AR area last weekend. Is it a Greater or Lesser Scaup hen?
I can't ID this duck, but I had great time looking at the pics in your web gallery. We just went to Zion and Bryce too. I think we saw the same raven at Bryce.
Your terrific b&w's have inspired me to try to do some of mine in b&w. Thank You!

Thanks! We had a great time in Zion and Bryce Canyon. The views are spectacular with so many photo ops! We really enjoyed being there in February with snow in the higer elevations and no crowds! Traffic was very light and only about three cars at daybreak as we chased light through the canyons.
I bet it was the same raven. This pair would start at the south parking area and follow the cars north to each overlook. They had adapted well to begging for hand outs or picking bugs off the car's grill and bumper. We never fed them but you could tell that many others had.
