Thanks for the posting Todd! I was up in Dinosaur last year when my parents visited, which I think is close to this location. The weather was generally poor, and the only lighting shots available were pretty harsh. The only decent ones I had with the exception of one were intimate landscapes and photos of petroglyphs. You have a much better grand scenic depicting the general area than I walked away with. Great job!
Very nice image! I like the sky with the moon peeking through. I also like all of the levels of visual interest you included with the FG bushes and trees, the red rock ridge and the distant mountain range.
Just a couple of things I noticed. At the BRHC, there appear to be some small branches that just enter the frame. I'd suggest cloning them out. While absent at the bottom, there appears to be a vignette in the upper corners. What was your exposure data and how did you process this?
Nice shot! I've never been out that way... looks pretty sweet. I like the saturation here, but I think perhaps the blue sky is a bit too oversaturated, so it steals a little attention from the red cliffs.
Nice shot Todd. I'm sure this looks really good not compressed down to a jpeg. The vignette in the upper corners is a little distracting, but a sweet shot!
