Hoffman Branch
This was shot the same time just above the last falls, I liked the light coming in over the canyon wall, thanks for looking.

Well, Bernie, this one looks a little too cluttered for my tastes. I do like the way you mix the light in your images. I usually only shoot water on overcast days, but your recent falls shot, this image, and one you posted back in the ESS gallery some time ago makes me what try something a little different next time I'm out.

I just returned from N.C. which wasn't a photography trip :frown: but I seen a lot of rollings hills and such in the south part of the state that looked interesting to me. I only mention it since the big boulders in your image remind me of it. I really don't live close enough to it, for an in depth exploration. But, I'm wondering if ever looked around the Hoosier National Forest much?

This is interesting Bernie but I don't know if I like it. Mainly because my eyes are trying to figure out what I should be looking at.

It's cluttered, yeah...but that's what these places are like. Your organization makes sense to me, and the only thing that really bothers me is the prominent branch at the top of the frame. Camera positions are tough in these situations though. It looks like a place that I would really enjoy exploring.

Thanks for the comments, I have to agree the comp is a little cluttered but the light was so nice I had to to give it a try. :wavey:

Robert: I have not been to the Hoosier Nat. Forest, but I think at it's southern end there are some real nice places to shoot.
