With all the new photos, I thought I'd post one. I've hardly been out photographing lately, so here's the one new shot I have. It's several images stitched together from Horseshoe Park. I spent the night photographing star trails, then slept for a few hours at Erik's gallery (thanks Erik!), then shot this sunrise. As for the night shot, I've yet to get the film developed...

One thing I notice is that the color of the light is a lot different on the hills on the left side than on Mt. Ypsilon, and that Mummy range is a little hot. I wonder if decreasing the brightness of the peaks would bring out some color in them?

Even though this was taken in good light, the dynamic range seems very large, especially on the right side. I would try to burn the mountain on the right, (to look like its reflection), and dodge the dark part. Otherwise, everything looks nice, although a larger version would be easier to critique.

Grant, very cool panorama. I love the power of stiching photos, but they can be a pain at times. I think I see some banding in the sky from the blend, so you may want to work in those areas a bit more. Its a little hard to tell for sure at this size. I think just a light decrease in brighness of the sunlit trees on the left is needed.

Great image overall. I really like that reflection.

I love the pano and reflection, but that sandy color on the left peaks bugs me for some reason, especially since it shows up in spots amongst the white peaks on the right  Maybe Tony's suggestion would help--i really dunno.

Thanks for the feedback! This was just a quick "test" stitch as I'm waiting until I get CS3 to do any "real" stitches. So I didn't attempt any adjustments. But I'll keep the suggestions in mind should I ever do a print of the image. It's not my favortie shot, but it's nice to have another image that I can offer at really big sizes.

Really cool reflection, I tried a shot similiar to that at sunrise last year . A ranger on his way to work honked his horn and had a major fit that I was scaring the wildlife out of the meadow. There wasn't one Elk or Big Horn Sheep around at the time. Anyway great image!!!

I really like this Grant. Nice light and although I'm not a huge fan of symmetrical reflections shots, this is definitely an exception.
