Bandit at 6 o'clock....
This Welsh Raven from a well know farm in Rhayader was just about to get mugged .....

Comments appreciated

Don't worry, I've nearly posted all the 10 images I kept out of the 6gb shot so you only have to endure a couple more!

Your photos from your day out have been fantastic and I for one have really enjoyined looking at them. This one is an absolute cracker and I love the comp of the shot with the 2 birds combined as they are! Having the focus spot on for both birds, especially the eyes is just excellent. Great work mate and keep 'em coming :toast:

Stunning shot, is it a combination of two?

The reason I ask, the sharpness throughout the shot at F5.6 with a 1.4TC is stunning!

Brian

Thanks for the comments.

Brian, no it isn't. The Raven's eye isn't actually that sharp and I think the focal plane hits the wing and is on the Kites head. I would have stated it in my techs...I have another shot from this event which I'll post at some stage. :toast:

Fantastic action shot Graeme. A real behaviour beauty. No matter about the crop, you bagged the shot :toast:

BGS yes I've done it now, but only because the most descriptive word in the English language is a swear word Graeme you've done it again, you must spend a lot of time out in the elements to achieve this kind of work.
I'm envious of your Standard Set's.
