Lone Cloud
So, does this work for anyone? Just curious. I got lucky with some diffused light in the foreground, so I took a shot at it. Thanks.

Marc, this is great...the cloud, bush and lupine work well together here...

I would clone out the small bush on the hill on the left side just to keep the symmetry alive...

That cloud really works well here!

I say either clone out the cloud or crop just below it. It's just a bit too puny to make a statement.

I like it, I even like the small tree on the hill, but this can't compete with your truly stunning image you posted in ESS.

Yeah, it's a second-rate image for sure. Not something I'd usually post, except to just get opinions on keeping it. I wouldn't consider keeping it at all if not for the cloud, as it would be not nearly dynamic enough for my taste.

True, it's not one of your grand scenics. But it's a nice image nonetheless. I like the tree on the left horizon. It draws me to the horizon. It's a good visual hike from the flowers, to the main tree to the left horizon. I like that. The cloud adds contrast and interest. I think this image is a keeper. Kind of reminds me of John Shaw's style, to be honest.

John Shaw was my first thought, too.... the lone cloud is interesting..

I like it Marc, I love the blues and greens, and the surreal mood. My only nit, is the vinetting. I think that's just me though. vinetting is generally a distraction to me.

I love it. The cloud is what keeps you looking at the image longer than if it weren't there. it's the kind of thing that grabs your attention rather than just moving onto the next image. It takes the image into the graphic relm. Good stock potential I think.

It's interesting but it's sort of kitschy.
