Can't seem to find any good information about the Epson P-3000/5000 Portable Storage Device. I have purchased the P-3000 for a trip to Europe. Saving files goes fine; but, I can't seem to download to my computer. Instructions talk about an Epson Link2. Was there supposed to be a CD with software to install on my computer? Or do I have to download drivers from the Epson site? I sent Epson support an email and no response yet. I need to make up my mind soon so I can either keep the device and apply for the rebate offered by B & H; or send it back. Would appreciate any help.

I have the older P-2000 and that requires the device to be plugged into the power supply adaptor before it will allow you to download to the computer. After plugging in the power supply, plug in the USB 2 cable to your computer.

I hope that solves your problem.
If it requires drivers, you should have had a CD in the package.
I can't remember if mine required a driver installation.

What Bill said. I have an Apple computer, once you plug the usb into the computer it shows up as a hard drive and you can then copy files to your computer, I did not need any software.

Thanks guys. I use Breeze Browser Downloader and was able to successfully download. Just needed to be pointed in the right direction.
