I hope some of you were able to get an image or two of barns while in the area last weekend. Here is one from the upper end of Boxley shot yesterday...

Tim I did shoot a few barns last weekend but I'm not sure any of them will see the light of day. Unlike your shot here they lack visual impact and unique perspective. Add to that the fact the light was, well you remember, they are just kind of ho-hum.

As far as this shot I like the strong graphic lines in the bales and the strong emphasis you've placed on them, backed by the distant barn. If the grass was brown you would think this was a fall shot.

That's a pretty cool perspective. I like the detail in the fg. The color in the hay bales is eye catching too. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful afternoon light grazing the treetops here, Tim. This kinda reminds me of the one you posted with the steam coming off the bales early one morning. Both are beautiful!

Steam coming off of the bales? Holy cow that was a couple of years ago and I have to think about it to remember. I guess the altitude up here blurrs my memory...

Heck, if I tried to keep up with a fraction of what you do, thinking about it wouldn't help me much - I'd have dun forgot by now...
