Reed Bunting
Hi to all,
Reed Bunting , photographed at Titchwell , not the sharpest of the bunch but I like his pose , shot in very poor light on a very windy day.
Levels , Usm , H/S , Slight Sat and a medium crop.
Small twig cloned out at the bottom righthand side.

Canon 20D , 500mm F4 , W/Hv2 , Gitzo 1325.
1/160th @ F8 iso200 , E/c -1/3

All comments and advice most welcome

Kind regards
Andy...

Hi Andy

Love the background, isolation is mega. I would have given the bird more headroom and cropped the cluster of twigs.

Hi Andy - nice shot - I just love the pose and comp :toast:

Can you get a bit of selective levels going in the black face and lift that small catch light in the eye - it would be a belting shot if you got some definition in the blacks with pp

Agree about the colours/levels need abit more, plus atouch of USM.

I would of gone the other way, cropping some of the top and atouch off the right, to aid the comp.

other than that its a cool shot :toast:
