Hare
20D, Sigma 500/4.5, 1/1250 f6.3 Cropped to portrait from landscape.

As I keep turning up for the NPN outings I thought it was about time I posted something here. This was taken at a reserve in Suffolk where the hares are very used to visitors so with a modicum of patience are fairly easy to photograph. The down side is that access is limited to the middle part of the day.

Hi Gary,

Nice portrait. The lighting does look a bit harsh, but you have good detail in the fur.

Where abouts in Suffolk is this?? I'm always interested in new sites for Hares  You can PM if you wish.

These hare shots are really great, perhaps a little less contrast on this one.
