Ground Squirrel
I returned from California last night after my most succesful trip there,Its the first time i have been at this time of year and everything is in bloom and all the birds are in breeding plumage-90 degrees and good cheap wine make it a great place to visit,This is the first image i have processed, The beaches around Monterey are in full bloom and amazing to view from a distance,Ground squirrels are everywhere so i waited near an entrance for one to pop out of,Quite wary in some places and tame in others,This guy was quite timid but a few well placed nuts drew him out and i spent a few pleasant hours with him

Hi Dave,

Good to see you posting again . Looks like you had a succesful trip.

Agree with the suggested crop, but still a nice colourful image.

In the pink eh, my lass would like though the beast looks a little snooty.

I also agree with the suggested crop, though the subject and the colours are great.
