I live in Fremont, CA and work in Mountain View for a computer company
in the area. Software engineer, but with the dream of becoming a full

Welcome to NPN and CANP! This has been a relatively quiet group (including me) but it goes in spurts - so feel free to post an image; both here and in one of the other forums too.
Now you say you've only been doing photography for a year??!!?? I viewed your images one of my immediate impressions was that you have a keen eye for composition and perspective. You have also already recognized the importance of quality light. Congratulations on a fine body of work already!
I'm just up the road in Livermore and we have quite a few folks in the greater Bay Area.
