Mr & Mrs Hare
Hi to all,
Two Hares , photographed at Bempton yesterday morning , it's a pretty large crop as they seem impossible to approach , I think I need to do a bit of ground work and find suitable place to sit in my baghide if I want to capture full frame images like the one's posted here , also , thoughts on the comp please.

Levels , Usm ( 150,0.3,5 ) H/s , Slight Sat , Hefty crop.

Canon 20D , 500mm F4 L IS , W/Hv2 , Gitzo 1325 , r/release
1/250th @ F8 iso200 E/c -1/3

All comments and advice most welcome

Hi Andy,

Great symmetry. Would work nicely as a pano crop. Our local hares have become ears poking out of the barley now

Hi Andrew,

The only shot of Hares I have this year, is of a white tail going away from me rather rapidly.

Composition wise not alot more to be done, other than crop one out and just concentrate on a single portrait, shame one was'nt up on hind legs.

Regards

Rob

PS have you any knowledge of what the Seabirds pub is like for eating/accomodation?

Hi Rob,
Sorry I can't help with the accomodation/eating side of things , I'm quite sure the visitors centre at Bempton will be able to help , most RSPB reserves have a book with all the local accomodation listed.

Kind regards

All these hares make me feel very bald, haven't got any this year :frown: .
Where's the flying white things?

Thanks to all for the comments.

Hi Tim , I'll be photographing the " Flying white things " in the morning , looks like the weathers going to be fine , so with any luck I might get some more Whitethroat shots.

Kind regards
Andy...
