So maybe it takes me a couple of days to get things from my camera to my computer...
This was the scene in Golden Gate Canyon State Park last Saturday morning; they had just opened Mountain Base Road the weekend before, and I was fortunate that it was still open after the snowfall.
And this is the scene looking out towards Mt. Evans from near my house. (No, I don't have this view - my house nominally looks out at Longs Peak - through some pine trees...)
Les, thanks for posting the Golden Gate pic. I have been meaning to go there and check it out. Do you have any more shots from there? I like the stormy Mt Evans photo too!

John, Right now I only have a few. On my website, in the Other Colorado gallery, the images Doorway to Nature and Golden Meadow are both from Golden Gate. In the Flowers gallery, the image Beautiful Blue was also taken in the park.
I live only a few miles from the park, but I haven't really taken the time to explore it much; I'm starting to learn more about it, though, and hope to really add to my collection this year.

I live only a few miles from the park, but I haven't really taken the time to explore it much; I'm starting to learn more about it, though, and hope to really add to my collection this year.
