I just installed CS3 - How come the settings in Printing Preferences box under Advance don't stay after you print. I have to re-select setting after each print, unlike I needed to do with CS1. It acts like I closed and reopened photoshop.
It's a "feature"... I'm hoping Adobe will fix that in a maintenance release. They did a lot of reworking of the print subsystem; it was much, much worse in the Beta, where you had to go through contortions to get non-standard print sizes.
As it is, they have a KB article with a "solution" - re-enter the information each time you print! I wrote a nastygram comment in response to the article, which is at http://www.adobe.com/go/kb401471.
Yeah, I find it pretty frustrating too. Last week was the first time I had to make multiple prints after getting CS3 and of course I wasted a sheet and a bunch of ink before I realized the settings had changed on me.
