Quick question - Will the Puffins still be there in July ?.I have a couple of weeks off work, so i was going to drive up for 2-3 days.

Lovely shot Craig - it's a great comp and bags of detail but it does look a bit flat on my monitor - give shadow/highlight a try with these settings (tick show more options box)

Shadow Amount 43 Tone Width 39 Radius 74

Highlight Amount 29 Tone Width 45 Radius 39

Colour Correction +30
Midtone Contrast +13
Black Clip 0.01
White Clip 0.06

Flatten Image then copy to new layer and add HiPass filter to new layer with a radius of 0.7 and a blend mode setting 'soft light'

Looks nice on my monitor.

Great shot though anyway - congrats :toast: :toast: :toast:

A nice sharp portrait, although a small burst of fill in flash would have worked wonders here to help counteract the dull light.I like the clean neutral backdrop.

I'm off to the Farnes at the end of the month, this shot is making me really envious, I've had a fiddle as such a nice photo.

Yep Tim's repost is great. That nice soft light has actually helped keep the white details really well. :toast:
