Nice comp Paul, good strong line thru the bird to the top right corner :toast: :toast:

Only change I would make would be to clone out that black area at the top.

Strong image :wavey:

Lovely image. There is quite a lot of dead space on the right and a tighter crop would also look good though I can see why you've gone with this one to keep the perch. What a striking pose. :toast:

Nice Paul. Great pose captured. A tighter crop wqould be my preference but i too can see why you opted for this. Would get rid of the black at the top :toast:

The crop works really well on this.

Not sure why I didn't point my camera in it's direction!!

Lovely image  I hadn't got the focal length, so enjoyed the display instead - that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

You should of followed me after lunch, which is when i took this one. I was sat waiting for the wren to show its self again and the Wood warbler just refused to go away. I must have 80 shots of it doing various things.

As for the crop, i'm unsure. I will try a 3x2 and 16x9 later but i prefered the proportions of this. Also the black OOF branch, i didnt notice it when i was working on the image (it was rather late by then...)

Glad people like it
