(Chinese) Birch
This tree is native to Western China. Not that I was there but I did find it in Washington Park Arboretum.

I took a good look at this earlier, Mark before commenting.. at first I was thinking great texture but too light - however it is starting to look more and more pleasing with it's subtle coloration and contrasting sides.. well thought out composition..!

I had the same initial reaction as Ned. Its just a little on the light side. I bet it looks cool in print.

I want to look at this some more, I had the same "too light" reaction, but the pastel shades are pretty compelling. More to follow, maybe this evening.

I like it. Love birch trees anyway, and this is really good with the texture, colors and pattern. Nice going.

This one isn't doing the trick for me. I agree that its too light. Not alot to keep me looking. Just my honest opinion.
