Does this work?
I personally like this image, but I'd like to get some outside opinions.

Taken a week and a half ago at rowena, this was as exciting as the sky got that day.

Zack, This is a nice image! The clouds have just the right flare to them. I am wondering if there is a way you could punch up the colors a bit go give it more pop...

Here is a more saturated version, let me know what you think.

I sure does for me Zack. Belated congrats on your new family member too!

Zack, I personally like the repost....

its not much, but its just enough to give it that punch it needs.....Excellent Comp too!

The second one works for me... the way the sun is hitting the tops of the flowers does it for me! :toast:

I like the second version better. And yes, it definitely works.

I like this but it doesn't WOW me like most of your images do. The sky is terrific but personally I would like to see the flowers a little more prominent. Another vote for the second version.

Second version. Lovely sky, for me it works. And more belated congratulations too.

Works for me Zack. I love the dramatic sky. I do kind of get a feeling of competition between the flowers and the sky for attention, but maybe that's an effective struggle in this case...

I think the second one is better as well, but I love me some contrast/saturation. My only issue is the halo on the mountainous horizon. The clouds are awesome.

Thanks all, the halo on the mountain is mostly due to web sharpening, it's not in the original.

Works for me !! Nice shot.

Boy Zach, this shot is a bounty of riches with all the action in the sky and the wildflowers, too. Dramatic. There's some 'dead' space on the left side and beneath the flowers in the fg. Also noticed the clouds are darker on the left compared to the rest. So, I looked at it with the negative spaces cropped off (from the left about 1-1/2 in., and from the bottom- tight to the blooms of the fg lupine. I liked it that way, too, and wonder what you think of the idea....

I like the sky, I like the more saturated version, I want to see the flowers a bit closer but a minor point. I think it works pretty well.

Less foreground but, yeah, it's awesome!

Wow - how did I miss this one? Beautiful shot, Zack - this is art print quality! I'm not as distracted by the foreground, and like the relative darkness of the foreground. It adds to the drama. I also like the reworked second version -- really nice!

But is that a new IKEA sign I see poking up on the horizon..?
